Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks an ASR II to assist patients with check-in/out, payments, and registrations. You will handle cash, verify insurance details, and coordinate with the care team to maintain accurate records in Epic. A strong customer-service background and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of direct face-to-face customer service.
• 1+ years of cash handling or collections.
• 1+ years in a medical office setting or 2 years in related roles with Epic Front Desk training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; basic math.
• Ability to speak, write and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Commits to collaborative interaction with patients to achieve excellent customer service and high levels of satisfaction.
• Processes check-in and check-out on POS; collects fees, co-pays, self-pay amounts and other balances.
• Registers new patients; updates demographics in Epic; conveys wait times to patients.
• Assists with forms and paperwork; directs patients to the appropriate department.
• Performs cash control procedures for opening and balancing daily cash.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the site manager.
