Job summary

Responsibilities include verifying patient insurance benefits with Epic, providing cost estimates and financial assistance information, and assisting with ADT tasks across clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of clerical, customer service, or receptionist experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Certification/membership in AAHAM/NAHAM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in Patient Access/Administrative Services to ensure a customer-focused environment.
• Collects and verifies patient and insurance demographics, reviews benefits in Epic, provides cost estimates and secures pre-certifications/pre-notifications.
• Manages paperwork accuracy for admissions and pre-admission processes; assists with ADT tasks across clinics and registration areas.
• Educates patients on insurance coverage and financing options; facilitates financial assistance information and communicates required procedures.
