Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Patient Access experience preferred.
• Knowledge of registration, and billing regulations including Charity Care.
• Medical terminology and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a timely and friendly manner.
• Collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Initiate insurance verification via third-party clearinghouse.
• Explain forms and obtain required signatures.
• Support cashier functions and cash reconciliation.
• Maintain bed board accuracy and scheduling as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
