Ideal candidates will have at least one year of healthcare or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred.
• Medical terminology and medical insurance knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow payor requirements for in/out of network plans and perform eligibility verification.
• Obtain accurate demographics, diagnoses, authorization/referrals, and insurance information.
• Provide service-oriented assistance to patients and customers with professionalism and respect.
• Collaborate with departments and physicians to obtain necessary registration details for financial reimbursement and patient satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and collect co-pays as applicable.
