Job summary

CommuniCare+OLE is seeking an Access Representative I to greet patients, manage registrations, and support a busy frontline team at our Napa site. The role emphasizes quality customer service, accurate data entry into EMR, and coordinating insurance eligibility with the Eligibility Specialist.

Responsibilities include patient check-in, scheduling, payments processing, and maintaining privacy and compliance across the reception area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• One year healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person or on the phone and deliver strong customer service.
• Input patient data into EMR accurately for each encounter.
• Screen insurance eligibility and refer self-pay patients to Eligibility Specialist.
• Answer calls promptly and document encounters using the designated form.
• Schedule and pre-register patients; provide appointment reminders and information.
