Job summary

CommuniCare+OLE Health is hiring an Access Representative I for the South Napa site. You will greet patients, answer calls, pre-register, check insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments while protecting patient privacy.

Requires a high school diploma, CPR certification, and bilingual ability (English/Spanish/Dari/Punjabi/Vietnamese). Entry-level healthcare experience and data entry skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree required.
• Entry level; one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish/Dari/Punjabi/Vietnamese strongly preferred.
• Must certify and remain current in CPR certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail required.
• Data entry skills, Microsoft Office, and Electronic Health Record system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients in person or on the phone and driving a positive patient customer service experience.
• Inputting patient data fully in EMR before saving.
• Screening patients for insurance eligibility; refer self-pay patients to Eligibility Specialist.
• Answering telephone calls promptly and courteously, recording encounters.
• Scheduling appointments and pre-registering patients; sending reminders.
