Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Medical terminology, medical office, registration or billing experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to multitask under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Complete all steps of pre-registration/registration with patient data and insurance information.
• Coordinate insurance eligibility and determine financial obligation including copayments.
• Act as communication hub for hospital; respond to codes and emergencies as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and verify patient information; ensure accuracy across systems.
• Greet visitors and patients; provide directions and support to maintain positive patient experience.
