Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• College level coursework or equivalent experience preferred; healthcare work experience is a plus.
• Three to five years of customer service experience is preferred; ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Creates scheduled inpatient and outpatient accounts in the Hospital Information System from Scheduling Systems or other methods.
• Validates and verifies demographics with patients, physicians, or other entities.
• Researches patient phone numbers and past accounts as needed.
• Review outstanding discharged accounts and follow up to close prior visits.
