Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; required to perform data entry and scheduling.
• Complete and pass the Patient Access training course.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, and Medicare guidelines preferred.
• Bilingual English, Spanish/Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments (diagnostic, surgical, therapy, physician visits, and other procedures).
• Obtain and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Register patients and enter data into the scheduling system.
