Job summary

Adena Health System is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support scheduling, registration, and patient data collection at the AOSI Business Office. The role involves collecting demographics, insurance information, and ensuring precertifications for services to support accurate billing.

The position is full-time with a day shift (Mon-Fri) and requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a patient-focused approach in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License.
• 6 months experience in hospital clerical, general clerical or customer service related position.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and clinic staff to schedule, pre-register, and register for all services.
• Gather demographic, insurance, and financial information; ensure precert/authorization and other required data.
• Use EPIC and other tools to verify insurance coverage and collect at time of service.
• Enter diagnosis, tests and orders for completeness and medical necessity; support timely patient care.
