SouthCoast Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative for the General Surgery location in Wareham, MA. This role supports patient flow by check-in/out, pre-registration, and scheduling while delivering excellent customer service.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong typing and computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior medical office experience is preferred, and vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 is required or an approved exemption

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Good computer and typing skills required.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment is required.
One year of medical office practice experience or graduation from a medical secretary program or the equivalent is preferred.

Mansioni

Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practice(s).
Perform pre-registration functions including scheduling patient visits, tests and procedures.
Greet patients, answer and triage telephone calls.
Perform various clerical and administrative tasks.
May cover different offices as needed or directed.
