Job summary

PSCFL in Miami is seeking a Customer Service professional to greet patients and families, register for services, and collect necessary information. You will verify payer details, obtain authorizations, and schedule physician or hospital services with accuracy and courtesy.

The role requires 1–3 years of customer service experience, basic MS Office skills, and strong communication in English; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years customer service experience.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and families in person or on the telephone displaying excellent customer skills.
• Obtains demographic, third party payer information, financial information, medical information, and ID to schedule/register patients.
• Obtains authorization and referrals and collects payments as required.
• Verifies third party payer information and seeks appropriate authorization/referral.
• Documents activity in the QA system and scans documents accordingly.
• Notifies patients of deductibles, co-pays, balances, and deposits; collects out-of-pocket responsibility.
• Schedules physician/hospital services and confirms appointments two days prior.
