Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance organization preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Ability to travel to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly, courteously, and helpfully.
• Effectively handle patient check-in/check-out processes.
• Answer calls regarding appointment times, patient requests, and general inquiries.
• Review patient charts for accuracy prior to upcoming appointments.
• Perform scanning and sorting within the EMR system and update insurance information.
• Collect patient payments and assist with other duties as assigned.
