Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Experience in patient access, front desk, or medical registration is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families during check-in across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and collect accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Facilitate timely access to care by minimizing registration delays and answering questions clearly and compassionately.
• Build trust with patients who may be ill or anxious.
• Navigate insurance plans, collect co-pays, and provide cost estimates when applicable.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
