• Excellent customer service and communication abilities for interacting with patients.
• Comfort with keyboarding, calculators and standard office equipment.
• Willingness to handle interruptions and make independent decisions when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Registers patients and collects/updates demographic and insurance information.
• Obtain consent for treatment and insurance forms; explain benefits and patient rights.
• Assist patients in navigating benefits and direct to proper department.
• Verify outpatient benefits and pre-certification as required; answer the switchboard.
• Ensure accurate face sheets, labels and armbands; support staffing needs.
