Qualifications

• Six months of work experience in a medical office setting, including high-volume direct patient contact.
• Preferred CHAA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately completes patient admissions documentation per service, payer, and hospital policy.
• Registers patients according to physician orders and collects payments as needed.
• Verifies insurance and scans insurance cards and IDs into the system.
• Maintains accurate patient demographics and data in the registration system.
• Responds to patient and visitor inquiries with courteous, professional communication.
