Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-register 98% of all scheduled patients at least three business days before arrival.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information accurately in the system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; obtain pre-authorizations when required.
• Collect co-payments, deductibles and co-insurance at time of service.
• Ensure compliant, efficient and complete patient registration processes.
• Coordinate with physician offices, schedulers and hospital departments to prepare required information before arrival.
• Handle front desk reception duties as needed and maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Log cash collected, receipts and balance cash at all times; meet monthly cash goals.
