Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a patient registration specialist to accurately register patients in Epic, verify insurance, and collect payments. You will support front desk operations and help ensure a best-in-class patient experience.

The role requires strong customer service, multi-tasking, and computer literacy. Prior Epic experience is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a customer service/front desk role or a graduate of a front office/medical office program.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in Epic and verify patient information.
• Collect payments and explain billing procedures to patients.
• Manage patient flow and assist with scheduling and referrals.
• Update patient records accurately and maintain privacy.
• Provide excellent patient service and support with resources as needed.
• Back-up for other clinic duties and support improvements in daily operations.
