Qualifications

• 6 months experience in hospital clerical, general clerical or customer service related position.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients, clinic staff or other clinical staff to schedule and pre-register for services.
• Register patients for all services and verify demographic, insurance and financial information.
• Obtain required signatures and documents and scan into imaging system.
• Work with billing to ensure accurate precert/authorization and help collect patient accounts.
• Communicate clearly with patients and clinicians to support timely patient care.
