Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Driver’s License is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in hospital clerical, general clerical or customer service roles.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, pre-register and register patients for services at Adena Health System.
• Use EPIC to collect demographics, insurance, financials and other billing info.
• Run patient cost estimates and collect payments at visit or pre-registration.
• Obtain required signatures/documents and scan into imaging system.
• Coordinate with clinicians to ensure timely patient care and accurate orders.
• Answer hospital switchboard calls and transfer as appropriate.
