Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare is seeking a Billing and Registration professional in Fergus Falls, MN. The role focuses on complete patient registrations, ensuring accuracy, and reporting progress to supervisors.

You will verify patient eligibility, handle cash collections, and ensure CMS/HIPAA compliance. The shift is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with an 80-hour biweekly schedule and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Education/Special Skills: A high school diploma or GED.
• Good verbal communication and listening skills.
• Knowledge of basic insurance policies, procedures, and reimbursement practices.
• Adequate computer/keyboard skills required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment health screening.
• Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.

Salary Range: $18.73 - $23.90 Hourly.

Job Category: Billing and Registration.

The purpose of this position is to facilitate complete patient registrations in a timely and quality manner and report the status of work in progress.

Ensure compliance with CMS rules and regulations, legal document signatures and HIPAA privacy and confidentiality.

Verify patient eligibility for services and cash collections.

Hours/Shifts

80 hours biweekly, shifts Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm in the Fergus Falls Clinic.

Compensation

Hourly Wage Range: $18.73 - $23.90. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
