Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented Billing and Registration professional in Fergus Falls, MN. The role focuses on completing patient registrations accurately, verifying eligibility for services, and reporting work progress.

You will ensure CMS rules and HIPAA privacy are followed and assist with cash collections when needed. 32 hours biweekly, daytime shifts, with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Education/Special Skills: A high school diploma or GED.
• Good verbal communication and listening skills.
• Knowledge of basic insurance policies and reimbursement.
• Adequate computer/keyboard skills required.
• Pre-employment health screening must be completed.
• Must be able to attend the work site as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate complete patient registrations in a timely and quality manner.
• Verify patient eligibility for services and cash collections.
• Report the status of work in progress and ensure CMS/HIPAA compliance.
• Uphold HIPAA privacy and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Support accurate billing and registration processes.
