Summit Medical Group's Goodlettsville Pediatrics division is hiring a Check-in Clerk to manage patient check-ins and registration in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role requires handling phone calls, scheduling, copays, and chart preparation while ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance. A High School Diploma and at least 2 years in a busy clinic are expected.

You will coordinate with multiple departments, verify insurance details, and help maintain smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks-in patients, verifies information, and collects copays.
• Routes messages to staff and coordinates scheduling.
• Handles phone calls, messages, appointment confirmations, and referrals.
• Files charts, coordinates lab work, and processes charts for next day.
• Assists with charge entry or coding as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of medical office procedures and HIPAA.
