Qualifications

• Clerical experience including typing, filing, answering phones.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a demanding environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check-in, registration, transfer and discharge per procedure.
• Greet patients and visitors and answer calls with courtesy.
• Interview and gather information from patients, offices, insurers and agencies.
• Obtain signatures on financial documents and admissions paperwork.
• Explain financial responsibility and collect payments as required.
• Enter accurate data into computer systems.
• May be scheduled as charge person, Pre Service Representative or Financial Counselor.
