Qualifications

• Epic experience preferred; proficiency with scheduling tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Collects and verifies patient demographics and insurance information for the EHR.
• Schedules, cancels, and reschedules patient appointments across departments per guidelines.
• Provides patients with visit details, location, and provider instructions.
• Verifies referral and authorization status as needed.
• Answers inbound calls within established timelines and routes messages per workflows.
• Documents communications promptly and escalates urgent matters when needed.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and care team members.
• Coordinates with clinic teams for follow-up and scheduling updates.
• Maintains awareness of provider availability and clinic changes.
• Updates patient charts with confirmations and insurance verification.
• Participates in call center meetings and quality initiatives.
• Occasional extended hours or weekend shifts as required.
