Job summary

EPIC Cadence/Prelude training is required within 30 days of access. Responsibilities include scheduling, bed planning, pre-registration, and maintaining a positive patient experience across areas

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience.
• Ability to work rotating schedules and weekends/holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and Google Suite).
• Basic medical terminology knowledge.
• Bilingual abilities preferred (e.g., Spanish or Korean).

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient Patient Access functions including scheduling, bed planning, pre-registration and registration.
• Verify insurance, obtain pre-certifications and financial clearance.
• Gather patient demographics and ensure accurate patient identity.
• Obtain necessary patient consents/attestations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive patient experience.
• Adhere to the facility's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
