• Obtain inpatient bed assignments and process admissions (arm banding, addressograph, forms).
• Pre-admit scheduled inpatients, outpatients and ambulatory patients.
• Enter reservation in the system to notify other areas.
• Conduct bedside or phone interviews to gather demographics, insurance and third-party information.
• Perform eligibility verification and refer for financial assistance when needed.
