Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for patients and guide them through the initial stages of care.
• Collect demographic information and enter into the system; update records as needed.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations or referrals when required.
• Explain insurance benefits and financial responsibilities to patients.
• Collect co-pays and other payments per hospital policy.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
