Responsibilities

• Identify patient in EMR and verify demographics accurately.
• Enter accurate patient demographic and financial information per standard work process.
• Provide exceptional customer service during encounters with patients, families, visitors, and physicians.
• Perform registration functions in Patient Access areas.
• Verify insurance eligibility and secure authorizations as needed.
• Explain billing procedures and collect patient out-of-pocket expenses.
• Assist with training new associates and support department workflows.
