Job summary

You will provide exceptional customer service during encounters with patients, families, visitors, and OhioHealth physicians and associates.

The role includes registration duties across Patient Access, insurance verification, and consent processing, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• One to two years' experience in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient in EMR system accurately.
• Gathers and enters patient demographic and financial information via multiple contact methods.
• Verifies insurance eligibility using payer websites or by phone.
• Generates patient estimates and discusses financial responsibilities.
• Supports registration in Patient Access areas and documents consents.
• Assists with training new associates and maintains lobby areas.
