UofL Health is seeking a Patient Access Registrar to interview patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and ensure accurate data entry for admissions and billing.

The role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to support efficient patient flow in a hospital setting. A high school diploma and registration experience are preferred for this position.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of registration experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interview patients and collect demographic, guarantor, and insurance information.
• Review and enter accurate patient information for admissions and billing.
• Assign appropriate insurance payer information to ensure proper billing.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses to place patients correctly and update accounts.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and hospital policies.
