Job summary

Qualifications

• 30 wpm typing with 95% accuracy (required).
• Excellent organizational, oral & written communication skills (required).
• Three years of patient access or billing experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-registration and registration for inpatient, outpatient and ER encounters.
• Ensure accurate demographic information and signatures on forms.
• Manage payer requirements for eligibility, authorizations and referrals.
• Train staff and monitor attendance; supervise daily operations.
• Enter staff time into payroll and conduct annual evaluations.
• Coordinate department coverage during absences and vacations.
• Promote exceptional customer service and professional image.
