The role ensures accurate demographic data and adherence to third-party payer requirements while delivering courteous patient service.

Responsibilities include staff training, payroll-related tasks, and coordinating with departments to maintain high standards of patient access operations in a hospital setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of relevant patient access or billing experience is required.
• Proficient typing (30 wpm) with 95% accuracy is required.

Responsabilidades

• Determine staff work assignments.
• Monitor registrations and financial documentation for eligibility, authorizations, and referrals.
• Oversee coverage for absent employees and vacations.
• Train new employees and ensure ongoing education.
• Initiate and document disciplinary actions as needed.
• Conduct orientation and annual evaluations for supervised staff.
