Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-3 years Customer Service/Medical experience desired.
• One year of medical office experience or mix of customer service, insurance verification and scheduling
• Basic MS Office proficiency: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient flow from entry to destination ensuring timely service.
• Resolve patient accounts accurately and promptly.
• Collect information for complete financial and demographic records.
• Perform insurance verification, prior authorization, and benefits coordination.
• Communicate financial information with payers and patients.
• Register patients accurately and schedule recurring appointments.
• Answer calls and direct patients and visitors appropriately.
• Participate in departmental operations and quality initiatives.
• Adhere to infection control, safety programs, and regulatory standards.
• Order, distribute, and maintain department supplies.
• Meet productivity, quality, and service standards to support goals.
