Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Health Administration is required.
• Experience in patient access or healthcare administration preferred.
• Experience using patient registration and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients during the registration process.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information into the EHR.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with clinical departments.
• Verify contact information and appointment details.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Collaborate with billing teams on insurance-related issues.
• Explain registration, scheduling, and financial responsibilities to patients.
• Communicate clearly to address patient questions and concerns.
• Review data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support a welcoming environment and minimize wait times.
