Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a patient services representative to handle incoming calls, register patients, and schedule appointments across the enterprise. You will document demographics, medical and referral information, and ensure records are accessible to care teams while delivering courteous service.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, data entry), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office or health care setting (Epic experience preferred).
• 0-1 year customer service in a contact/call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule new patient appointments.
• Document patient demographic, medical, financial, and referral information in systems.
• Answer calls, triage messages, and provide courteous customer service.
• Provide information and instructions regarding the practice and Hospitals across the enterprise.
• Obtain patient information required by providers prior to an appointment and ensure records are accessible.
• Transcribe call, referral and scheduling information in multiple systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers; maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
