Job summary

Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Front Desk Scheduler for the Center For Hematology & Oncology. This full-time role will schedule diagnostic, surgical, therapy and physician visits and verify demographic and insurance information.

Working in a call-center style environment, you will register patients, enter data into the scheduling system, support go-lives and departmental initiatives, and strive to meet quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Patient Access experience.
• Ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments across diagnostic, surgical, therapy, and physician visits.
• Verify demographics and insurance information; register patients in scheduling system.
• Maintain quality metrics and participate in go-lives and departmental initiatives.
• Support training and cross-training across unit lines as needed.
