Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Patient Access Representative for Family Practice in a full-time, day position at our Vancouver, WA location. The role offers a competitive hourly salary range of $23.16–$31.26 and requires strong customer service and medical office experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year medical office or customer service experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registers/registers patients with accurate demographic and financial data.
• Collects patient balances, co-payments and co-insurance.
• Verifies coverage and prior authorizations/referrals as needed before arrival.
• Responds to customer inquiries and supports coverage processes.
• Manages daily appointment schedules and reminders.
• May transport patients using escort or wheeled transport equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
