Responsibilities

  • Accurately collects, analyzes and records demographic, insurance/financial and clinical data in computer system.
  • Maintains knowledge of insurance verification and understanding of insurance plans.
  • Answers telephone calls promptly and accurately; takes messages and directs calls professionally.
  • Educates patients regarding financial obligations through POS and estimates.
  • Participates in performance improvement initiatives to improve quality and customer service.
