Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screens and routes patient calls efficiently and ensures accurate registration, appointment scheduling, and follow-up scheduling.
• Responds to patient questions by editing, canceling and re-scheduling appointments according to clinic protocols.
• Reminds patients to bring required documents and information to appointments.
• Verifies patient information including demographics and insurance coverage at visits.
• Maintains minimal hold times and answers calls according to protocol.
• Calls and reminds patients of upcoming appointments as per protocol.
• Documents patient cancellations and no-shows per protocol.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
• Assists in developing and documenting office protocols.
• Holds lists for weather-related contingencies and adjusts schedules accordingly.
