Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registration and Scheduling Coordinator to manage patient scheduling, registration, and real-time eligibility verification for outpatient rehab services. You will inform patients of co-pays, collect payments, and provide necessary instructions and forms prior to visits.

The role also includes processing signed physician orders and ensuring complete clinical documentation for care delivery.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Coordinates patient scheduling, registration and real-time eligibility verification.
• Determines scheduling requirements and resources to ensure patient flow and satisfaction.
• Provides patient, family and physician education during scheduling about preparations and testing.
• Obtains signed physician orders and ensures proper distribution of patient charts.
• Maintains accuracy in registration processes per department standards.

Formazione
