Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in healthcare or scheduling/registration experience in healthcare setting.
• Preferred: 2 years healthcare experience including scheduling/registration.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Basic Life Support certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer calls; direct information to appropriate staff.
• Handle registration and scheduling duties, data entry, and daily deposits as applicable.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and collect co-pays when required; communicate with billing as needed.
• Maintain patient charts and coordinate with physicians' offices; ensure accurate charting.
• Maintain office supply inventory and perform other duties as assigned.
