Job summary

UPMC’s Shadyside ENT team seeks a Patient Services Representative for a full-time role in Pittsburgh. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with minimal travel to Mercy, Monroeville, and Oakland as needed.

You will greet patients, handle check-in/out, schedule follow-up visits, and collect copays while supporting the MyUPMC portal. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in medical/billing/customer service preferred.
• Experience with Epic/Medipac or health records systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in and check out of patients.
• Answer incoming calls and schedule follow-up visits.
• Book appointments the call center cannot schedule.
• Collect copays and explain financial responsibilities.
• Promote MyUPMC patient portal and assist registration.
