Responsibilities

• Collects demographic, insurance, and physician information during registrations.
• Screens for insurance eligibility and pre-certification or referral requirements.
• Identify self-pay patients and direct them to financial assistance when applicable.
• Maintain open communication with departments and clinical staff.
• Assist in shadowing/precepting new employees.
