Responsibilities

• Welcome and register patients efficiently and empathetically.
• Explain registration processes and respond to patient questions.
• Process co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, balances due, and reconcile cash drawer.
• Assist patients with kiosk check-in.
• Complete Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaires and adjust coverage.
• Obtain signatures and process consent and other required documents.
• Counsel patients regarding non-covered services, ABNs, consents, and waivers.
• Monitor waiting area and ensure smooth registration flow.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments using various tools.
• Verify scheduling information including insurance and demographics.
• Communicate financial clearance status to patients.
• Plan appointments with Financial Counseling as needed.
