Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Patient Services Clerk in Wisconsin to greet patients, collect demographics and insurance information, verify coverage, and post payments. You will schedule appointments, manage check-ins, and help with prior authorizations as needed.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and basic computer literacy in a fast-paced medical office environment. Monday–Friday shifts with occasional cross-site coverage may apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; answer calls and take messages.
• Register patients; collect demographics, insurance, and payments.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate cancellations and reschedules.
• Explain test preparations and check-in procedures to patients.
• Update insurance and demographic data; ensure accuracy per requirements.
• Resolve registration or authorization issues and assist leadership.
