Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service experience expected.
• Physician practice experience preferred.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Basic medical terminology and EMR familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to multi-channel inquiries regarding appointments, referrals, and refills per guidelines.
• Keeps call queues in check and processes calls efficiently while maintaining service quality.
• Exhibits active listening, empathy, courtesy, and professionalism with callers.
• Strives to resolve inquiries in a single interaction.
• Verifies patient ID, demographics and insurance, and updates medical records.
• Performs front desk duties at offsite practices as needed.
• Provides feedback to improve departmental performance.
• Attends mandatory meetings and projects; completes annual requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
