Job summary

Presbyterian System Services in White Mountain Clinic is seeking a Medical Group Front Desk Specialist to coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and data entry, ensuring a seamless experience for patients, providers, and staff.

You will verify demographics, insurance, and registration, deliver excellent customer service, and use Epic to manage referrals and Advanced Access workflows. This is a full-time, on-site role in Lincoln County, NM.

Qualifications

• High school (G.E.D) required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments according to guidelines and provide details to patients.
• Monitor daily schedules, remind patients, and coordinate rescheduling as needed.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance, and registration to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Serve as primary point of contact for patients and visitors, handling calls and messages.
• Retrieve and prepare patient records and supporting documentation as requested.
• Enter and manage referrals in Epic and respond to referral inquiries.
• Monitor Advanced Access scheduling to maximize patient access and collaborate with care teams.
• Follow EMTALA guidelines for urgent or emergent calls and participate in meetings/trainings.
