Working with providers and care teams, you will manage Epic referrals and Advanced Access scheduling to maximize timely access.

Qualifications

• High school (G.E.D) required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments in accordance with guidelines and provide appointment details.
• Monitor daily schedules, remind patients, identify missed appointments, and coordinate rescheduling.
• Review provider schedules and address gaps to support efficient clinic operations.
• Verify and maintain accurate patient demographics, insurance and registration data.
• Serve as a primary contact for patients and visitors, answer calls and forward messages.
• Provide information about hospital, clinic and department services and policies.
• Retrieve and prepare patient records and forms requested by patients or care teams.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy and confidentiality in all activities.
• Enter and manage referrals in Epic, initiate referrals, and respond to status inquiries.
• Understand Advanced Access scheduling and maximize patient access to care.
• Collaborate with providers and care teams to ensure timely patient access and smooth flow.
