• Check in and check out patients per Scheduling/Registration guidelines, prioritizing patient needs.
• Obtain and verify patient guarantor information annually to keep records up to date.
• Schedule and register patients according to guidelines and medical appropriateness within clinics.
• Coordinate follow up appointments and testing at check out.
• Collect all necessary information from patients to schedule and register appointments.
• Identify and communicate scheduling changes and modifications as needed.
• Notify staff of scheduling changes due to patient cancellations in a timely fashion.
• Respond to patient and staff needs and complaints within the patient care environment.
